Los Angeles piano lessons
Building up piano abilities!
At college in the music faculty, we were sitting at our pianos between 4 to 6 hours a day. You do that for a few years and you get some interesting results. Let's say someone likes music and decides to take piano lessons. Alright. One of my first questions will be: "What are your goals concerning piano?" Some of the answer I get sound like this:
From there we start building up piano abilities, focusing on what the student wants to reach and what he wants to communicate. Though I have my own piano program written down, I'm trying to give the student what he wants. The student builds abilities by doing (practice) and having clear concepts of what is supposed to be done. It works the same way with kids or anyone else. Music is way up there! It's fun and creative. And, piano has the advantage to have a lot of music written for it. So to conclude, if we focus on what the student can do and keep reinforcing that, we (the student and the teacher) both win. You can contact me at: Hollywood info@lapianolessons.com Musically Yours,
